Overhead Crane Training
Overhead crane training also known as hoist sling operator certification, will instruct and teach your employees the basics of operating a overhead crane / hoist. This onsite overhead crane training will also assist you in increasing productivity and efficiency, while at the same time reducing the risk of product damage, property damage, and preventing accidents.
Onsite Classroom Training Review
- Pre-Shift checks and inspection
- Material Handling regulations under the OSHA 49 through 64.
- The use of chains, spreader bars, grabbers, slings, and other attachments
- Maintaining a safe distance
- Load limits and Capacities
- The controls and basic operation
- Reviewing standard safe practices
- Lifting, moving, placing loads
- Analyzing the lift
Observation Of The Safe Use Of The Sling Hoist
- A written evaluation of this observation will be completed, reviewed with the trainees, and given to the company for their records.
- Each Operator will be evaluated on the safe use of the overhead crane/sling using equipment they will be using on a regular basis.
Overhead Crane Duration:
40 minutes per student. All crane training is delivered on site and can be scheduled to meet your company's needs. (Weekends, off shifts, whenever and wherever).
